The mountain walking experience for beginners guided by nature exploration professional "Michikusa Master" Saku-chan has been renewed and set in fresh green mountains and rivers!
This time, we will aim for the summit of Mt. Konpira, which even parents and children can easily climb. At 468 meters above sea level, it is lower than Mt. Takao, but since it stands at the gateway to Okutama, you can expect a view of not only central Tokyo but also the Boso Peninsula and Mt. Tsukuba if the weather is good.
And since you'll be guided by Saku-chan, an expert in nature exploration, there will be surprises and discoveries in hiking other than mountain climbing. Near the summit of Mt. Konpira, you will see the rare naturally created Tengu Rock. During your lunch break, enjoy a mountaintop lunch while enjoying the spectacular view.
The second half of the hike is a mountain stream hike where you can enjoy looking for living creatures along the clear Akigawa River, heading towards the goal of Musashi-Itsukaichi Station.
Please come and experience a low-altitude hike with Saku-chan, along mountain trails that are easy for parents and children to enjoy, along pleasant mountain streams, and through many attractive natural spots. -
A fun mountain climb that stimulates curiosity and a sense of adventure for both parents and children.
Although it is a low mountain that is easy to climb, the view from the top is spectacular, and it is said that you can sometimes see all the way to the Boso Peninsula, beyond central Tokyo. Please take a look at the view from the top of the mountain with your own eyes, which is the best part of mountain climbing.
There are lots of fun things to do besides mountain climbing. You can enjoy a ``mountain stream hike'' that connects knowledge about various eras and creatures while explaining the wonders of the various creatures found along the way.
